Tanzania, The Northern circuit - Tarangire
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
The Park covers approximately 2,600sqkm, and is only 115kms from Arusha, gateway town to these fine parks.
- It is most spectacular during the dry season when animals migrate from waterless Southern Masailand to the last remaining pools of the Tarangire River.
- The park is famous for the presence of wide variety of wildlife and migratory bird species.
